2026 PFA Family Reunion, Saratoga Springs, New York
Hello Cousins!!
Registration is officially open for the Parsons Family Association’s 103rd reunion in Saratoga Springs, New York on July 25, 2026. Please fill out this registration form ASAP to confirm your attendance!
Overview
For more than a century, our reunions have been rooted in family, history, and togetherness — gathering not simply to reconnect, but to honor the generations who came before us and to strengthen the bonds that carry us forward. This year’s reunion promises to be especially meaningful as we gather during the 250th anniversary of the start of the American Revolution.
We will begin our day at Saratoga Spa State Park with a morning plenary session and a light lunch — an opportunity to connect as a full family, reflect on our heritage, and celebrate our Parsons story. In recognition of the 250th, we’ll be hosting a “Find Your Patriot” session at the reunion where members will be connected with their family from the American Revolution. Please fill out the pedigree chart below and email it back to me so our historian, Gary Parsons, can get started on finding your patriot.
In the afternoon, attendees will be able to choose from several preferred outings, which will be chosen as part of your registration form. Here are some brief descriptions of those outings for your consideration.
Potential Afternoon Outings
- Saratoga Race Course: Experience the electric atmosphere of Saratoga Race Course, one of America’s most historic thoroughbred tracks, where summer racing tradition and grandstand energy create an unforgettable day.
- Site of the Battle of Saratoga: On the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution, walk the grounds of the Saratoga National Historical Park, the pivotal battlefield where American forces secured a turning point victory in 1777.
- Congress Park and Downtown Shopping: Stroll through Congress Park and explore Saratoga’s charming boutiques, galleries, and cafes just steps from historic mineral springs.
- Yaddo Gardens: Find quiet beauty at Yaddo Gardens, a serene artistic retreat known for its formal rose garden and tranquil fountains.
- Saratoga Spa State Park: Enjoy scenic trails, classical architecture, golf, and pools at the 2,400-acre park where we will be starting our day together.
Accommodations
We took the liberty of making a list of potential accommodations for members traveling in from out of town. Here is the list. The Executive Committee will be utilizing airbnbs rather than hotels, so feel free to check out some private stays as well. Saratoga can be an expensive area, but navigating to other close towns and villages is very easy to do, if you should choose to stay elsewhere.
Renew Dues
If you are not current on dues or have questions about your payment status, please reply to this email.
Closing
We look forward to seeing everyone at this year’s reunion and sharing a beautiful Upstate New York summer day with you, while learning about our history and having a little fun. Please feel free to reach out with any questions.
