Don't know if we are related to this branch of the Parsons but I am descended from Joseph Garrett Parsons whose origins we are not aware of. We know he lived for a time in South Carolina before moving to Alabama. I wonder if any of the Parsons from this branch have had y-DNA examined? I have through FamilyTree DNA. If anyone has any info. it would be appreciated. Glenn R. Parsons, Oxford, MS
